Chondromimetic
Chondromimetic is a porous, resorbable implant which is designed to stimulate regenerative repair of damaged joint surfaces and bony defects caused by degenerative diseases such as osteoarthritis, trauma or surgery.
Chondromimetic:
- contains readily-absorbed biocompatible materials, collagen, glycosaminoglycan and calcium phosphate in a dual-layer porous implant
- is supplied sterile and ready to use, and is compatible with open and minimally invasive simplantation methods.
- provides optimum environmental conditions for cell infiltration and tissue regeneration via a unique resorbable tissue scaffold.
- allows pre-hydration with sterile fluids and autologous blood products, maximising its biological effectiveness and enhancing the healing process.
- is a safe and cost-effective way to improve surgical outcomes and restore a mobile active life for patients
